Already watched it and it’s a great step by step analysis of the attack. If people actually watched the video they would know that.
To be fair, while these channels do a great job at informing about what is happening on the ground, the titles are clickbaity. Then again, that wouldn’t be that much of an issue if people actually watch the videos. That’s the same as reading the title and not the article.
The problem with Youtube (and the internet and world in general) is that we are deep, deep in a crisis of authority. For every channel that has honest, expert information about a subject, there are a dozen others with laypeople sharing their lay opinions about it with varying degrees of understanding.
So those of us who actually care about getting the information from someone who is actually an authority on the issue have had to learn the visual shorthand that can help us tell the difference. It’s obviously not always true, but generally clickbaity images and headlines are a big red flag that the source is more interested in getting views than getting it right.
Naturally that is getting harder and harder too because the experts have learned this and feel forced to follow along with their own clickbaity headlines and images.
IMO it’s a serious problem and one that may not have a solution but still desperately needs to be solved. We absolutely cannot have proper functioning democracies if it’s difficult for the public to get the truth.
The video is also pretty bad. If I had a nickel for every time something was far more devastating than someone or other could have imagined, I could retire. Also, it sort of tries to imply that the whole reason these drones were so special is because the Ukrainians had help with their drones from the US, which I’m pretty sure is no longer the technology relationship there and has not been for some time.
It is still an informative video I think but it is almost too YouTube to be able to endure.
I root for Ukraine and all but…
Ukraine Destroys the Last Thing Keeping Russia Alive
Yeah… That’s something between wishful thinking and propaganda.
If they don’t use clickbait, youtube alg ignores them. Blame youtube for having a shitty platform that promotes clickbait
Yeah… That’s something between wishful thinking and propaganda.
What else is keeping Russia’s war economy alive?
Is it gold mines in africa?
Really impressive.

you going to examine what lead you to believe this, and correct so you aren’t fooled again the month after that?
Why do you ask me? I’m not the creator of that video. Did you confuse Lemmy for the comment section at YouTube?

Presumably you posted this because you believe what the creator is saying.
What regarding the actual content of the video, laying out the tactics that were used, are wrong by your opinion? Did you only read the headline and felt triggered?
Edit: Don’t attempt to answer. Had a look at your moderation history. Banned from several community for spreading fascist propaganda. I saw what looked like Russian disinformation but wasn’t yet sure. Your moderation history confirmed my suspicion.
I have not watched the video and have no opinion as to its content, but not necessarily. I’ve often shared stuff that I don’t agree with, because I find it an interesting conversation starter, because I agree with one particular point but not the overall argument, or because I wanted to see others’ take on it.
I have not watched the video
I did and it’s not about Russia capitulating in a month. Seems that Alcoholicorn is using the old pro-Russia tactic of trying to ridicule anything critical of Russia. This is part of the Russian coordinated disinformation campaign to discredit all factual information about Russia.
