Tomato soup is a personal fav and topped with croutons is absolute heaven. This one was just made today. Working on writing the recipe and then posting it. Potato soup is another one. Making it creamy can be tricky for beginners, but there’s a secret ingredient that really takes it up a notch!
I haven’t made my corn leek and potato chowder in ages.
White bean, leek and potato soup is one of my favorites.
I’ve never made homemade tomato soup before, I’d love to try it
Beer cheese soup. And some good bread

About the potato soup: To get it a bit creamy we use either
creme fraiche or some creme cheese. It doesn’t get as greasy as with cream. To get the most out of the tomato soup I add a bit of dark balsamico vinegar and fresh garlic.
Edit: Totally skipped that I was posting in the vegan community. So just ignore or replace the part with the creme cheese e.g. with soaked sunflower seeds or soaked cashew puree. I saw that it could be used as a creme cheese replacement - bit didn’t tested it myself.
French lentils, onions and tomatoes. A bit of finely chopped celery and shredded carrots, vegetable broth, tamari and thyme for flavor.
Hot and sour soup. I the use recipe found in Vegetarian Chinese Soul Food
Oh, that’s a good one, haven’t had hot and sour soup in forever!
Split pea made from the ham bone. Soooo good. I follow a recipe (sort of) but I added a twist where I save the pan dripping as well as the bones from the ham. I know if probably adds more salt and fat but boy is it good.
Best I ever tried was probably a roasted pumpkin soup with roasted pumpkin seeds, but the place is gone now.
I love good She Crab soup, lobster/crab bisque, and loaded potato.
