i often buy books on a DRM’d store or a paper copy, but then download the epub to put on my e-ink tablet so i don’t have to deal with the shitty DRM’d app it would be stuck in.
I’m travelling to Florida right now and I can’t view pornhub or any if it’s owned brands, which is a lot of adult content right now. It’s apparently like this in 17 states. That’s a self-imposed block, but it’s because those states have ID check laws that are so invasive that they’re rather not serve to those states.
Oregon can pump their own gas now. it’s the worst and i hate it.
Look, we’re all looking for a unicorn. This seems like one of the least effective ways to do it.
i only recognize bleem as two possible things. dropout.tv’s Brennan Lee Mulligan or the company that emulated playstation games on the dreamcast, got sue by sony and won, setting the precedent that emulation is a legal process, but folded under the weight of the lawsuit anyway.
Lmao… let’s start counting the laws he hasn’t broken. I’m so done with trying to care about each instance of him breaking the law. He’s unfit for office, has been impeached twice, and he deserves only jail for as long as his miserable heart will last.

this is part of your compensation. you pay state taxes for it. And you deserve it. decades of corporate propaganda has made most people believe they don’t deserve leave at all. ignore the haters and take your leave.
Yeah, they curate their service with people they specifically invite. At least for a while, no idea if it’s still this way, every channel owner on Nebula was a part-owner to the service and had a vote in major platform decisions.
I think this rules, personally. It makes me feel great about subscribing knowing that everyone there has a vested interest in the platform as a whole succeeding and producing worthwhile material. On the flip side, there are really good channels on YouTube that I wish were on Nebula, and I think would be a good fit, but there’s not really a process for suggesting them to the platform for invitation.
