    Resilient and spreading little buggers. Our neighbor regularly complains about strawberries “invading” their manicured lawn from our side.

      if you look closer, these are not true strawberries in the genus Frageria , these are called mock strawberries, aka Potentilla indica. these are actually introduced strawberries from asia, its an invasive species.

      you can see they are spherical instead of a drop shape. another detail is that you see the yellow flowers is indicative of mock strawberries, while Frageria has white flowers. you can see the yellow flower in the middle of the leaves.
