2·1 month agoYes, it’s clearly a mistake. Bulbophyllum and Dendrobium are the two largest orchid genera, and they are both sister taxa.
It’s funny to see such a blatant and funny typo on a recently-built sign in Singapore. Did someone do it on purpose?
Nice! But those leaves look suspiciously thin for a Bc. Yellow Bird. I’d expect leaves shaped like those of Brassavola nodosa. Maybe the leaves in the foreground are from a different pot?
