Not enough college financial aid left for me to be able to, otherwise I’d have to look at my wishlist and see what’s available for a good price.
It’s it just me, or do these sales get worse every year?
Fortunately, price info is actually tracked! If you use the SteamDB browser extension you can see the historical low price right on a game’s product page on Steam.
For example, Terraria is on sale for it’s 2 year low price of $4.99, but the lowest it’s ever been is $1.99 (a little over ten years ago).
Oooo nice, I did not know about that, thank you!

This site not only shows you historical data on steam, but on 3rd party sites and other launchers as well (fully configurable). And it’ll send you a mail is any game in your wait list meets any of the criteria you set (e.g. under $10, lowest historical price, etc.)
none, can’t afford anything.
- Gris
- Balatro
- mirror’s Edge
- Horizon Forbidden West (saving this one for desktop)
E: refunded Mirror’s Edge, it was running at like 5 FPS on low settings.
In the future try checking ProtonDB before buying/refunding. For Mirror’s Edge in particular, it seems all you have to do is disable
PhysX
.ProtonDB is an amazing tool, everyone should check it out!
Nice. Well I happened to see it on sale on GoG and I prefer to buy from there anyway so I’ll give it another try.
Gris is great. Small, but beautiful.
In this economy?
Obviously something to get my mind off this economy.
I told myself not to buy any games until KCD2 is out on GOG. But I am tempted

If you don’t like it, why bother to comment on it?
Unfortunately Gog can get off their ass and make a Linux library launcher/updater.
Meanwhile Valve maintains my library, uses my is OS of choice in a flagship product, and improves my gaming experience.
Steam manages all my saves and shares my library with my family.
What has gog done again? DRM free? Not so useful if I can’t play it all. Yes I could use a third party launcher but at that point why bother.
I would like to support Gog I have an account thier. But they don’t want to support me.
So Steam it is.
I’ve stopped buying from Steam on account of their country threatening to annex mine. GOG is looking good though.
What brand is your phone ? Computer ? Underwear ?
In case you’re wondering, the correct response was:
I’m sorry. My country is overrun with fascists and Nazis and I’m horrified by the threats to your nation’s sovereignty that manchild of a president is making. He does not speak for me, and I appreciate that you would decide not to spend money in a country that’s actively threatening your family.
You know, for the next time you feel the urge to defend a government that demonstrably doesn’t care about you or anyone else.
If you already have these things, you make no stance by throwing them away.
It’s never too late to start change.
Great, whataboutism. Your argument is stupid. Get a better one.
I’ve been eyeing Signals, Children of the Sun, Jusant, and Weird West for some time now. Maybe Floppy Knights and FAR Changing Tides too
They gave away Weird West on Epic a while ago. I checked it on Game Pass and had to quit it. The atmosphere is very good and overall looks interesting but the controls were awful for me to get used to. If you are going to get it I recommend checking it before the return window expires, just in case.
Thanks for the heads up! I’m a fan of the people behind it and follow the development closely so I’m kind of biased and know what I’m getting into haha
