As a character in “Radicalized” says, “They say violence never solves anything, but to quote The Onion: that’s only true so long as you ignore all of human history”.
The gun people were always more scared of brown people than theywere in love with the Constitution. All anyone needs to do to violate the Constitution with impunity is go along with hating brown people and the simple little 2A people think they’re on the same team.
Because the gun nuts are on the “same side” as the fascists.

2 weeks ago a rival image board found an exploit in how one of the boards dealt with pdfs, and somehow used that to leak everything about the mods, the source code for 4chan, and because there were several other vulnerabilities in the code - which hasn’t been worked on in years - they couldn’t bring it back up because someone could just hack it again. somehow, dispite that its up and running again, no idea how

Nobody with a lick of sense ever said that a civil war against an established and well equipped government was going to be fought on battlefields, lined up and infantry vs civilian infantry.
And it takes more than guns, as the Iraqis and Afghanis showed. But calling guns useless in a revolution or civil war, much less as a resistance or insurgency is just stupid.
I feel like it’d have to be a lot like Vietnam, with vets communicating 1 on 1 with soldiers, convincing them not to side with the government (trump has marginalized vets, after all). A military coup would be the best case scenario here. You convert his military, you remove his power.

I find it hilarious that Clinton got impeached in 1998 for getting a blowjob (and votes were 50/50!) when compared to this shit show and nobody has even thought of doing anything to stop it.
Clinton got impeached for perjury he committed when he was testifying before Congress as defendant in a sexual harassment inquiry. If we hadn’t let the DNC hand wave it away as “just a blowjob” back then maybe it would be easier to hold presidents accountable for breaking the law now.
