meh it’s pretty clear right at the top she is talking about the harmful rhetoric and tactics from tankies/accelerationists, not pro-palestinian sentiment itself.

my trans, poc, and migrant, AND palestinian neighbors in my town are afraid for their lives and families daily, and it really hurt to see tankies tweet “bombala harris” back before november when we KNEW what a trump presidency would mean.

for my part, i have remained staunchly pro-palestine without ever going down the tankie path. and i too wish that better rhetorical and tactical choices were made by some on the left in the interests of the palestinian plight.

in another section of this post (this is just a clipping) she defines these rhetorics and tactics and it has to do with creating learned helplessness with no communicated outlet.

tldr, equating “rhetoric” with “sentiment” as you do in this comment is pretty bad faith and natalie’s post doesn’t read as problematic at all to me.

Is there a tankie subculture in the USA? Where do they congregate IRL? Somehow I thought the online presence was from other countries
