Been doing a huge amount of work around the house lately in the holidays.
Currently power washing the pavers out back and filling the joins with sand. Should be more fun tomorrow.

I’ve never seen a dryer installed upside down before… woah
It’s Australia and super common in apartments here. INB4 everything up side down, down unda 😉
Wait, so it’s not a joke? Are all dryers upside-down mountable, or is it a special type?
I dunno about all driers, maybe not heat pump ones which have a reservoir for the steam / moisture to collect? But standard driers, yeah. Usually done in apartments with limited space for wall mounting above a top load washer (which are very common here), and let you reach the dial.
In what year do you live that you don’t consider heat pump driers to be the standard?
Yep, we’re all still banging around with sticks and stones down here.
Yeah, this seems like it would be potentially an issue if the idler wheels aren’t designed to support the drum weight like this.
Edit: looks like there are a couple brands that allow this, Electrolux being one.
Seems like a bad idea, but maybe it’s kosher if the manufacturer says so?
Same. Kinda blew my mind
Seems especially crazy since this looks like a gas dryer? How do the burners work?
Not a gas, electric heating element
Leave it to lawyers to but a big ol bright picture of an open flame on an electric dryer.
That’s probably the “don’t put anything you washed in gasoline in the spinning box that evaporates fluids with a heating element” warning.
