4·14 hours agoOne of the benefits when I used to use RSS was that the feed could be updated and cached so articles could be read when you don’t have an active Internet connection. Not as big of a deal these days, but a decade ago cell networks were spottier and free Wi-Fi wasn’t always available.
I always loved how pulse layed out each of the feeds and showed the headline and first image of the article.

If you’ve opened any of the emails and loaded any images, the server hosting those images gets your IP when you load the image. Some times it’s just a single pixel

I love the gestures, but they don’t seem to be available on most launchers

But I think the Chinese scientist that experimented on babies did it few years before that even.looks like same year, 2018, and thought emporium published first by 8 months






I’ve heard of some younger kids getting into older digital cameras and camera phones. Apparently it’s like having an (old-timey) Instagram filter built in.
Not sure if that’s the reason, but I know I’ve done jailbreaking and odd tech stuff ‘just because I can’
