Liver and Onion, anchovies, chunchullo, whitebait, blood and tongue sausage… generally these fall in two categories:
They’re wrong on all accounts - taste is acquired, and people should at least try food out of their comfort zone - but considering that it took 20 years for me to even consider trying shrimp (which still isn’t my first choice, but I like it now) I can understand.
You’re describing swap.
I cannot combine two flavors I’ve never tasted together in my mind, but I can recall what I did taste before and make an educated guess as to how to reproduce it based on how the individual parts taste. Apart from that it’s trial and error - I’d say 65% of the time it works, 25% of the time the result is forgettable, and 1/10 times it’s a “what was I thinking??” situation.
Everything else aside, it would be hilarious if Michael Jordan sued ICE for misrepresenting his trademark as “jump man”.
Nice ad hominem.
The screenshot puts the title of the article out of context, and incorrectly frames The Atlantic as defending late stage capitalism. The body of the article is a review of the history of egg farming.
Link to the actual article. It’s a good read, and in no way does it try to justify the raise in egg prices. It talks about the history of chicken and egg farming in the 20th century, the supply chain needed to bring as many eggs to consumers, and is critical of how the growing demand led to factory farming and horrible conditions for the chickens.
Severs can chose which other servers they federate with.
Severs each have their own admin. You think the admin on your server is an asshole? Pack up and take your community to another server.
Severs are each deployed in their own jurisdiction, making the federation more resilient to censorship.
Wankpanzer is also pretty good.
Believe it or not, also a fan favorite.
Unless your USB port is upside down. :)
Or sideways. Or facing downward on the back of a monitor. Or the device is upside down.
A lot of the extra value in something like a YubiKey is that they’re tamper evident.
Also any process can potentially read data off a USB stick once it’s mounted. With a FIDO2 key reading it requires a physical action.
The Fifth Element.
