Anybody got the feeling some games may be negatively affected by a PiHole ?
My RPi 2 has been happily running PiHole in my network for about 8 years now and with a number of pretty strict block lists, personally I never had any issues with games.
Honestly I think this is more like an OG Oblivion’s potato face character.

Children are innocent
I was the shortest of the class in my youth, which was reason enough to get bullied day after day. Some children are innocent, others just go along with bullies to not get picked on themselves and some are just absolutely cruel and vile if you’re different. And it’s definitely not always upbringing, the worst of the bunch actually had very nice parents, his brother was a great guy as well. But some kids are just rotten to the core.

I don’t quite agree, RoboCop 2 lacked some of the depth of the original in my opinion and come on: can you really beat Ronny Cox and Kurtwood Smith as the villainous duo? 😉
Having said that, RoboCop 2 is definitely still worth watching!

At the other hand, the lord did have obligations to the peasantry as well. Providing protection is a fairly well known one, but it could also be stuff like providing their people with meat at least once a week. An example that we know of is a case where a complaint was raised by peasants (and won!) because their lord had only provided fish (or maybe duck, as that was considered fish as well) for too long a period.
They had 2-3 months of religious holiday where they were not working. Also every Sunday, no work.
I can only speak for myself, but I don’t work on Saturdays and Sundays. And I don’t have any religious obligations on those days, so I’ve got them all to myself.
So that’s almost two months worth of Saturdays and on top of that I’ve got a month of paid leave and 7 holiday days.
Work-wise I’m not going to day we have it better or that we aren’t being exploited, but I sure know I wouldn’t want to trade places with a medieval peasant.
I’m not sure how adding a bit of nuance to the suggestion that medieval peasants might have less working hours than we do is “simping for inequality”.
I don’t endorse inequality, on the contrary. Hell, the party I vote for in my country is so left it makes Bernie Sanders look like a rightwinger in comparison.
But that doesn’t mean the other hours were just leisure time, maintenance of tools, clothing, house, etc also took up quite some time.

Well, at least I have a spine and refuse to go with the flow. No Facebook, LinkedIn, Xitter or whatever that sewer is called these days and I’m just fine with that. Just a bit of Lemmy for some discussions and memes, but fuck having to share everything you do.
Just tried it with HGL 2.18.1: unfortunately Battle.net crashes immediately after logging in, using GE-Proton 10-25.
I’ll probably give it another try later on, I’m a bit too fed up with this at the moment. I already handle enough issues with Linux infrastructure during my day job and this week has been pretty rough so far. Another reason why I primarily game on Windows, dealing with problems like these feels too much like work.

Guess that’s one of the problems with gaming in Linux, there are so many tools out there that it’s a pain to find the magic combination that works for your specific situation at that specific time. The best ecosystem seems to change year to year, seeing how last year’s advice doesn’t necessarily works as advertised now.

Having said that, I completely agree that it should be ingrained that equality and worthiness of respect are not dependent on aspects like skin color and gender.
