Hi everyone! Welcome to the first monthly Hobbies thread, where you’re free to post whatever you want that might be hobby related where we can:

  • Share in-progress projects
  • Share old/finished projects
  • Ask for advice, input, feedback, motivation, or suggestions
  • Info dump on your fave hobbies
  • Make community requests/suggestions
  • Pine over projects you haven’t done yet, or those projects that never seem to be finished

I’ll try to make sure a new thread is up by the first Friday of each month going forward. I hope every level of hobbyist will join in; we all start somewhere and perfection is never a requirement.

    Sadly I haven’t done anything hobby-related in a month. Finished assembling 5 out of 24 Eldar minis I picked up a while ago, but got tired of dealing with bendy thin parts and resin dust from cleanup and haven’t gotten back to it. No painting either because my desk is in resin mode and I can’t be asked to fully clean it up knowing that I’m going to get back to it in a while. Maybe I will once I finish some of the actual units (I’m at 3/5 and 2/3, respectively, so that’s more achievable).

    In sum: getting recast Shining Spears were a mistake (or so I say until I look at the GW’s prices).
