I initially thought this subreddit was just a bunch of religious libs, but upon looking closer, they’re definitely crypto-fascists. It’s kinda funny, because the sub is a hodgepodge of far-right religious extremists and liberals branding themselves left while being fervently anti-Communist and anti-tankie(and even anti-Anarchists), and it shows. Most of the posters there usually display heavy queerphobic sentiments(especially transphobia from what I was able to glean) while a select minority try to go “oh this anti-theist position from a queer person is such a bad look for the community” in a fauxgressive, tone-policing manner.

The same also applies for Pro-Palestine advocacy: most seem to at least show sympathy to the Palestinians and show rightful anger at atheists who reduce the genocide to “religious conflict and barbarity” and correctly call out Zionists, but then there’s also a sizeable chunk of liberal Zionists in there who run defense for their apartheid state like in the screenshot above.

I wanted to highlight this sub because there’s a shitload of incredible contradictions afoot amongst the users. And there’s also equally incredible slop to be found.
