You’d be surprised how many misspelt names (both species and hybrids) I see at orchid shows here every year… Nobody seems to double-check any of this stuff, so unless the person authorising the final draft actually knows how it’s supposed to be spelt, I can easily see how this kind of typo slipped through.
Yes, it’s clearly a mistake. Bulbophyllum and Dendrobium are the two largest orchid genera, and they are both sister taxa.
