And it slaps so fucking hard. Watched it all of yesterday while sick and am picking it back up. There is a lot of repetitive filler crap within the episodes but the serialized rocky and bullwinkle bits when you actually get to see it all in order isn’t that far off from an Adult Swim show. It’s reallt fucking good. Big recommend. Its from the early 60s so its more Beatnike subversive than hippie subversive. The plots are also jusr the best meandering shaggy dog stories ever. You can tell the writers were having a lot of fun.
Been watching this while ill and recovering this past week, and I just had to come back and thank you for this thread! I would never have known about this, but it’s been a joy to watch, so goofy and fun.
I was also sick when I started my watch. It’s a great show for laying in bed to. Im partway through season 2 now, I think I actually caught a decent amount of this in order on TV (in very old reruns) as a kid.
