Moved from Florida to Oregon and the hot isn’t even hot. It will get “hot” for an hour or two and then cool off overnight back down to the 50s. At the peak of the heat the humidity will be around 10%. It feels like nothing. Walk into the shade and it’s actually is cooler, unlike Florida where you’d choke on the humidity, even in the shade.
Got a crappy 14" pool for the kids last summer. Jumped in after working the yard, almost no relief due to the humidity. That was an eye opener on the whole “wet bulb” thing.
