      Sure, but does it matter?

      Wouldn’t all human rights organizations just watch whatever violations go on without really doing anything, and without anyone really doing anything?

      I mean, I’m pretty sure the USA could orchestrate a massive death camp extermination and no military power would challenge them.

      The US are probably effectively allowed to go full Nazi if they choose to, as long as the rest of Americans who don’t want that to happen can either be ignored or crushed.

        It’s a watchlist, not a task force. The scope is to inform international travelers of dangerous destinations, not make those destinations less dangerous.
