Jesus Christ you are an angry child with no understanding of the economy. I repeat:

Some people can’t buy a house, some don’t want to.

This dude owning a rental is not hurting you. In fact, OP is actually helping people like you. Companies owning thousands of rentals are hurting you. And you’re so blinded by your pain you can’t see the truth, and man, there’s no nuance to parse in that distinction between landlords.

Some people can’t buy a house BECAUSE THE PRICES ARE ARTIFICIALLY SO HIGH BECAUSE THE SUPPLY IS SO LOW BECAUSE THEY ARE OWNED BY PEOPLE USING THEM FOR RENTAL INCOME. But by all means, insult MY understanding of the economy when supply and demand seems to be evading your grasp.

There’s functionally no difference between a company with a thousand rentals and a thousand small owners with a thousand rentals. It’s exactly the same economic impact. But if it makes you feel better to belittle me, go right ahead. I don’t particularly care if you want to attack me - it doesn’t change the reality of the situation.
