The specific incident in question was a grand larceny case where two men tried (and failed) to steal a robot owned and operated by Serve Robotics
It was video filmed by the robot of dudes trying to steal the robot. It wasn’t following people round and getting in their business…
That’s quite clear in the article, but it isn’t the main point. They are driving CCTVs that invade privacy and could — most likely ready — help spy on innocent civilians.
