Really, even the CIA backed unregistered ‘student’ protestors that killed the cops, starting the entire affair? I thought you’d be into that.
And yes, we are taught it. It’s a great intro to international affairs and interference in China. At least most academies teach it, some focus on history that matters, like why the US decided to fund fascists for half of its existence.
I am intrigued - it sounds like much of the rest of the world have a very different version to what you are claiming China teaches.
If it was a CIA job and one that is so blatant that it is taught in schools, you would think it would be more known. I shall have to do some reading maybe - any starting points you can recommend with historical citations?
It’s really not a secret what the rest of the world knows about the incident, outside the West.
You guys are in a self imposed information bubble based on the idea that the West can do no wrong and if the West does something wrong then whoever they did it to deserved it.
Like pearl harbor, I know for a fact it’s taught that it was an unprovoked surprise attack in US schools, when in reality the US deserved it, really earned that attack. And as a dual citizen of at least one country that hates Japan for their war crimes, that’s hard to say.
Atrocities live rent-free in my mind?
I guess that’s technically true?

Golly gee I wonder
Because the Chinese government’s official line is that the protesters were violent thugs who had it coming, Jesus fucking Christ.
Yes, you steal weapons from cops and start killing them they shoot back.
What part of that is an atrocity again?
Was Jan 6th an atrocity because cops shot that one out that tried lunging through a window?
Are you a moron, or just pretending to be one?
Tankies do tend to be morons yes

Thank you. I’ve read through a couple of the links there - there is a lot to digest, so I’ll have to do it over the next few days. I’ll come back.
