My impression is that contrary to the headline, this isn’t a young vs old thing, but a follows-the-news vs doesn’t-follow-news thing

      Because what’s in the bill for keeping the government open gives the GOP even more powers to fuck shit up.

      It’s not a Yes No vote for just staying open. It’s crammed with a load of bullshit.

              Are you a lawyer and or elected official? Have you read the bill? What is your opinion on the contents of the CR?

              Im not a lawyer or elected official. No one on Lemmy is. Including you. So I refer to the official I did elect to represent me. It’s their job to read the bills and act on them in my interest. AOC is doing exactly that.

              You’re free to read the bill at any time. It’s available online. I’m not your staff secretary. If you want the nitty gritties you need to do it yourself.
