Liberals will tell you with a straight face that our media is neutral and objective.
Passive voice headline making it sound like an accidental fire just so happened to spread, meanwhile you look up the details and it was the fire from a drone strike sent on a school sheltering displaced people.
To be completely fair, “Israeli fire kills” isn’t a passive voice, a passive voice would be “killed by Israeli fire” or simply “Palestinian children killed” without the need for who killed them. That said, on the little paragraph below they do use a passive voice to talk about the 350+ murdered Palestinians.
It’s still distancing language. Israel bombs 2 Palestinian children to death would be the most direct and correct phrasing
I fully agree, I’m just being pedantic about the term “passive voice”
