For many things, yes. For ending a war between two foreign countries, not really. He’s basically an ambassador or negotatior for things like that. He can’t make either of them do shit.

what he does matters, of course. what he says… idk. what he says does not relate much to what he does. and he says awful things every day, every word a lie, and manages to dominate the news cycle for years on end. it’s a constant stream of shit. we’re doing ourselves a disservice by bathing in shit everyday.
