Alexstarfire@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.world•France Opens Criminal Investigation into Musk’s XEnglish8·3 days agoI’m not sure I understand the charges. “X stands accused of the ‘alteration of the functioning of an automated data processing system by an organized group’ as well as the ‘fraudulent extraction of data from an automated data processing system by an organized group.’” The article makes it seem like they are being charged because of how the platform is used, but the charges make it seem like the company hacked into someone else’s system. It’s the former, right?
I don’t see how the first charge makes sense if that’s the case. How does that differ from just changing the algorithm? Are they suggesting X should never be able to change it?
What exactly constitutes coffee then? Anything with coffee in it? Anything people call coffee?

I don’t think that’s what’s happening here. I wouldn’t consider this a coffee. It’s like saying coffee milk tea is coffee. Yea, it’s got coffee in it, but unless a drink is mostly coffee, it’s not coffee. It’s a coffee flavored drink. Which is fine. It’s just not coffee.
I mean, the science did go wrong too. They tried making dinosaurs all one gender but used DNA from an animal that can spontaneously switch genders. Sounds like they fucked up to me.
Typically means imbalanced. I.e. Imbalanced teams or some unit that’s far too good.

Legal immigrants are fair game with this administration. Pretty understandable to fear they are coming for you even if there should be no reason for them to.

Then I declare this debate invalid. Jalapeño poppers aren’t even on the list and they’re better than all of these.
If we are rating the best type of fries then onion rings are last, being that they aren’t even potato.

If no one gets convicted under the law, is it really a law?
Wikipedia only lists one person, in 2019, in the last several decades that has been convicted of insider trading.
Honestly, I’m not sure why members aren’t just required to have investments be completely managed by a third party where they have no input on any specifics. They simply have too much influence and knowledge on what is going to happen to be allowed to manage their own investments while in office.
It’s soft, reduces noise, and is warmer than hard floors. I love hardwood floors, but carpet has advantages.
