Martial law doesn’t affect veterans any differently than regular citizens, so I don’t think their status would impact the execution of it. Republicans have been fighting against the VA for a long time. I’m not sure that there is a line to cross for the vets who still support the party, especially MAGA.

The success of martial law depends on active duty members. I honestly don’t think enough of them would push back hard enough to stop it. The US military preys on vulnerable teenagers. They’re probably the least likely to rebel because of their age and their lack of personal independence.

Who knows, though. I’m not connected to anyone in the military, so maybe it’s different on the inside.

1. Windows is a privacy nightmare. The OS is constantly sending data to Microsoft while being used.

2. Windows hogs resources. If you don’t shovel money out for new hardware every few years, your computer will run like shit.

3. Windows is full of ads.

4. The majority of malware is written for Windows. Not really a selling point for me, but it’s a bonus.

5. Linux is free.

6. Linux doesn’t force updates. You update when you want to, and it takes less than a minute to do.
