NB: I have no reasonable argument for why this would be therapeutic, I just think it’d be an interesting read.
Write something fictional about what scares you, but from the point of view of the scary thing.
Scared of spiders? A story about a spider just doing it’s usual before suddenly stumbling upon a godzillesque creature of deafening screams that attacks the protagonist with a shoe.
Scared of rejection? Write a story about someone doing the rejecting, and how conflicting it feels.
Scared of water? A story about a crab who’s sick of hoomans crashing through his ceiling when he’s trying to chill in peace.

I mod a few popular communities, and I haven’t seen CP yet. It’s mostly the occasional spam and people who are still incapable of self regulating.

The standard framework of actors and scenes don’t really work for a game at that scale, so they decided to roll their own, and they’re calling it the Brutal Framework “because it’s quite brutal to work with”.
So far the result is really impressive looking, and since there aren’t many layers of abstraction to work via, the performance is pretty impressive too.

Looking forward to seeing what comes out of KSA, though. With many of the old devs and modders of KSP1 on board it looks like they have a good start.

Also, air resistance affects the trajectory so that anything thrown/shot will eventually return.

So I mostly just do “nothing” while playing chess.
Looking forward to colder temperatures next week.

I travel a lot as part of my job, I’ve been to 27 countries, and lived long-term in three of them.

… But I am convinced that the next major leap forward when it comes to advancement of practical applications of tech that isn’t stationary is going to involve a breachthrough in regards to battery capacity and size/weight. So as usual I’m curious where this leads.
Once we have something practical for the open market, we’re going to see a lot more portable applications for tech, and I for one am looking forward to it.
