3·25 days agoI got over 400 hours on Enshrouded on KDE Fedora, it runs very smooth if you have the hardware, and enshrouded has high demands for that hardware.
1·26 days agoThe company I work for did end up hiring many of the temp engineers from the company in that article, and the ones hired are some great coworkers, but there were many we didn’t hire.
I recently had the privilege of cleaning up code by a big India out sourcing company. The code quality was some of the worst I have seen in my 30 years of programming. Then I found [this article] (https://www.industryweek.com/supply-chain/article/22027840/boeings-737-max-software-outsourced-to-9-an-hour-engineers) about the same company writing code for Boeing.
17·28 days agoHey I know those end tables. My dad removed the turntable after it broke and we used them to store magazines and coffee table books. One of them was filled with National Geographic magazines.

21·1 month agoYep I keep it in my pocket with just the IR sensor sticking out and use the app on your phone to control it and it keeps people from ever suspecting me as the one who just turned off that annoying noise.

These chairs remind me of an over weight relative who was visiting in Arizona, where a friend had a covered back deck with these chairs. Our relative sat in one, not aware that the heat melts those things even when shaded. She flipped over backwards into the flower bed behind her, fortunately the deck was only about foot off the ground so she wasn’t hurt. It was very funny to watch though.

I used to love Gwar concerts, I used to live in Virginia Beach and they played there all the time, since they were from Richmond. It sucks that the original lead singer died back in 2012.
