Hard to know what to believe. Without bodycams, I would easily think that the police planted the knife and came up with the story after shooting her and the baby. With no prosecution, there will be no court case to determine if the story is legit.
I’m never gonna vote for Gavin Newsom again (He’s my Calif Gov). Looks like he’s one of those democrats whose ambition is bigger than their integrity, so he wants to join the whole “let’s be fascist” thing.

I would think that a system could be built to detect and stop AI scraping on a website. Bluesky saying “everybody already does it” is hardly a satisfactory response to users wanting privacy. Especially after many of us went to Bluesky specificaly because they said they would not allow our content to be used in AI.
