I haven’t heard terribly many people talk about draw steel, honestly. I’d be interested to hear what you think about it after trying it out.

yep, you are correct; i always accidentally lump it in together because of how related/similar they are, my bad.

“thing over rice” is nigiri. Nigiri, sashimi, and Maki rolls are all types of sushi.

This is extremely messy, but a quick job to just change the font style really fast. Lots of things dont quite line up, but its a start if this helps. I’ll go through later and fix it up, and add it to the store links.

i suppose i could make a version with a ‘normal’ font. Technically should only take a few seconds as i modify the styling, but its likely to mess up all the orientation/formatting of the document. I’ll look into that later, thanks for the feedback!

i used aseprite to make all the art; I also tended to limit my color palette to era-appropriate colors, though i moved between different color palette limitations on some parts

@eerongal. (How did you tag people in here?)
Yeah, you can tag people, you have to use @username@instance and it should popup a context window on the regular UI, i believe. Like this - @[email protected] - it will then normalize it into a link format that looks like:
[.network](https://ttrpg.network/u/roflo1)
league of legends players

Yeah, i figured it was probably under priced with our current host, but im not looking to balloon costs 4-5x or something when switching to a new host, hopefully. I’d like fully managed if possible, but yeah, another thought was including people who could look at things in my stead, though I don’t really have a list of people i’m aware of who i could recruit.

thanks! i’ll have to look these over!

Hopefully it shouldn’t be a big deal. I just need to find a new hosting service, and the migration should be easy. I have some time to figure it out, so I’m not too worried, just gotta find the right service.
😛
Yeah, i’m actually traveling right now, so i’ll take care of it when i get a chance later.
Edit: it is done
Not a bad idea; Someone with the power to do something should do something about that!
They also recently did a reprint of the first ~5 or so books in paperback. One of the neat things they did with the reprints is they’ve included dice rolls at the bottom of every page, so instead of needing to use dice, you can flip to a random page instead and use that as your roll.

The plane also says “King trump” on the side of it

I mean, that was essentially the point of the spell plague. It was just a cataclysm to explain why mechanics were so different due to 4e. It’s basically like in comics when they want to reboot they do a big cataclysm to justify resetting

worth noting, i believe that discussion is for c/rpg specifically, i dont think it was about a blanket ban for the entire instance.

i think @[email protected] is the only /c/rpg mod really active, so tagging him for any input on the community view…

there’s actually great resources for getting started online. There’s a site called start playing games dedicated to matching new people to a DM. Note that services like that cost money. There’s also the virtual tabletop roll20 which has a group finder for you to find a game. It will have a mix of free and paid games. Alternatively, you can crowdsource that such as on r/lfg on reddit (unfortunately the LFGs here on lemmy don’t seem to be active enough to find games), or through various discord servers, including the official D&D discord. Another that has reasonably active LFG type sections to try is the Fantasy grounds (another VTT) discord.
For in person play, you can also look in to local gaming stores that might run adventurer’s league, which is the sort of ‘official’ play wizards of the coast sanctions at local stores and at conventions.
