16·6 months agoSteam has a compatibility layer called Proton, when enabled you can play games designed to run on Windows. You can check ProtonDB to see if a game runs or you can just check by yourself.
Games that use anticheat are the most prone to not work on Linux.
Also, you don’t have to move to Linux cold turkey. You can try dual boot and adapt your workflow at your own pace. GL 🙂

231·6 months agoDecomps are legal because they’re clean room reimplementations of the original code rather than exact copies.
It’s the same approach IBM PC compatible manufacturers used back in the day to create their own BIOSes.
And a printer too.











Everytime I see some AI generated anything I want pluck my eyes off. It’s so ugly.
