87·2 months agoSadly, that is the point. Part of project 2025 is to remove as many workers as they can and when a position needs to be filled, make sure it’s a loyalist. This is just the means to an end for the fascist.
13·2 months agoHow much of that would actually go to small farmers and not just get eaten by giant corporations? I’d be willing to bet basically all of it and the only reason Trump is doing this is because those mega farm corps are lining his pocket for it.

101·4 months agoIf I learned anything from Republicans, this means the screenings are causing cancer. We should stop letting doctors do them.
Why not just call it a concentration camp? That’s what these are.
9·5 months agoI believe the article was getting at Del Monte was already in trouble and had to restructure but the tariffs were a nail in the coffin so to speak. They went from having some hope to none.
Texas exports a lot to Mexico and Canada. This is not something that will only affect the US. Here’s a link for some of that if you’re curious.
I highly recommend the podcast knowledge fight. They cover Alex Jones and have done some deep deep dives into all of this. The most recent episodes they talked about the bankruptcy fraud Jones has been committing.
One of them was actually brought on as an expert on Alex Jones during the trials and some of the lawyers have even been interviewed by them.
Meant to have text with that. Many would disagree. The US has a long history of resistance with guns and knives that is weirdly not talked about. I don’t remember schools ever teaching us about bloody Kansas or the coal wars despite the massive influence they had on American history.
Let’s see if it actually passes though.

TNR is tough work. Glad you’re helping out. I’ve had 21 cats from my area TNR’d and have more still to do but every bit helps. Where I’m at, I’m given a huge discount thanks to grants just due to the number of cats I’ve brought in but it’s still a lot. They actually just lowered it again for me. Good luck with everything and I hope some kind people can donate.
