Yea my parties are the best parties, too.
Stop trying to milk the cow. The cow is dead. Nothing good will come out when you pull in these udders.
Is this a real image? Feels like a genAI fur…

For me, well worth the price of admission and I'm looking forward to the expansion.English132·6 days agoThe game looks like a blast, but seeing how Bethesda treated Mick Gordon who did music for the previous two, their general behavior and the fact the whole thing is owned by Microsoft… I just can’t in good conscience give them any money or time/attention.
I installed all the updates, created a seasonal character, then remembered I have a backlog of dozens of games and moved on from Diablo.
QubaXR@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•people keep talking about how "em dashes" are evidence of ai. i use them all the time. am i a computer now?2·14 days agoIt’s that an iPhone keyboard? My android does not seem to have an em dash easily accessed. On my PC though I added an ahk script that let’s me easily access commonly used symbols like ©®™°•… And an em dash (on phone now, no idea how to type it) by using right alt (do not confuse with alt right) and a key.
QubaXR@lemmy.worldto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•people keep talking about how "em dashes" are evidence of ai. i use them all the time. am i a computer now?766·14 days agoThe whole em dash argument is bullshit propagated by LinkedIn lunatics with zero knowledge of AI, writing or typography.
Different types of dashes/hyphens have different uses. People who take care of their copy and understand the nuances of punctuation use em dashes regularly. People who are in a rush, typing on phones or simply who don’t know any better, put the same en dash everywhere.
Em dashes is one of the things that LLMs actually do right for a change. Calling text with em dashes weird, unnatural or ai generated is like making fun of someone for using proper grammar or hygiene.

QubaXR@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•If I cut up pictures to arrange things in a way that when traced over create something "new," is that a copyright violation?2·26 days agoThat “finite and rivalrous” is a definition that sprung up quite recently and I don’t know if I agree with it. How would one “steal a kiss” if it was a finite resource. Also while stealing is not always “punishable by law”, it can still be classified as wrongdoing. As an artist I find all forms of plagiarism to equate to stealing and while they won’t land you behind bars, they may get you a status of persona non grata with other creatives.
QubaXR@lemmy.worldto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•If I cut up pictures to arrange things in a way that when traced over create something "new," is that a copyright violation?52·26 days agoIt’s transformative. You are creating something new that did not exist before. At the very least this will fall under fair use, but your intent will dictate what it ends up being.
Ie: is I take Bugs Bunny’s head and out it on Daffy Duck’s body - I may be doing it as a commentary on WB cartoons, or pop culture in general. That’s ok.
If I try to launch my own Looney Toons cartoon with this new hybrid character - that’s stealing and WB lawyers will be all over any money I may make.

Technically, what’s in this picture is a soup with no color and no density, but it clearly has a tactile texture 🤯

Also, if you gave them money once - you’re labeled as a mark - and if you stop paying you will be punished by the algorithm until you’re ready to pony up again.
Well, we don’t have that but meanwhile even more Dexter is on the way.
