My brother-in-law is Spanish and when he heard about the power outage he immediately started yelling about Russia and World War 3 and ran to the supermarket to stock up on food, water, toilet paper and batteries. He hasn’t lived in Spain, or even the EU, for over 2 years. He is now 150% convinced that the power outage was caused by a cyber attack from Morocco but I really didn’t feel like asking where he got that idea.
Why would anyone launch a cyber attack without following it up with boots on the ground? If this was a cyber attack, all it did was help Spain/France/Portugal by showing them the faults in their systems. I also don’t think anyone would just casually launch a cyber attack against members of a military alliance that commits genocide for fun.

I chose one of their accounts at random and read a few comments and it’s defending free market capitalism and opposing taxes on the rich. It’s also attacking Russia, MAGA and saying “Israel has a right to defend itself but has gone too far.” It seems to just support the views of your average European chud, probably the researchers themselves.
