new friend of mine i met through a tabletop one-shot reminded me of an idea i had about doing a two-man bookclub because we both want to read more. idea was to start light with some light fiction (one idea floated was Earthsea), then maybe move to some denser fiction. almost violated the Be Normal maxim and thought about suggesting theory after that, but then remembered i want this person to continue to like me…
phew, close call (they r like 70% of a comrade though, i think with some finesse i could ease them into the periphery of the movement if i deploy enough subtle organizer-charm…)
