Just started reading settlers and it’s really feeding into my recently founded pessimism of the “working class” in Amerika

Yea feels like they are trying to frame it as a way to say the problem is criminal justice reform (ie cops should’ve arrested him before he did this, though I’ve yet to see if his previous incidents with the police warranted an arrest) which the conservative base thinks is a real thing that’s needed, whereas the reality is that BC has been closing down living facilities for people with mental health issues for the last while

That seems like unbelievable amount. We’re so cooked.

Like everything this regime is doing fascism without the ideological base for it.

This has been my impression of Trump for a while now. There’s no way he actually understands capitalism/imperialism otherwise he wouldn’t have defunded USAID, deport undocumented who are part of the cheap labor force, tariff allies and all other things that are counterproductive to maintaining it.

Word, I can already picture them saying “It’s okay because they are criminals anyways”
