It has been shown repeatedly that owning a gun makes you less safe. It increases the likelihood that you will be the victim of a crime, homicide, or suicide (accidental or otherwise).

We need fewer guns not more.

I don’t have an Xbox, but I’m thrilled any time companies add good customizable accessibility options. It’s good for folks who really need it, but also usually good for those of us who just like to customize everything as much as possible. Everybody wins.

I mean, for all intents and purposes, they kinda are. They’re both pictures of artists making a political statement with their art.

Yeah I’ve been dealing with this issue since I came over from the other place last year. It’s incredibly annoying, and a number of times has made me rage-delete comments I’m trying to post. It happens to me every day, but I can usually find a server that works for a while by randomly switching a few times.

There’s a ton of awesome chemistry amongst the cast in seasons 8 through 10, which more than makes up for the Ori storyline IMO. The Farscape reunion, Shanks’ wife as the doctor (she’s great in her own right, I only recently found out they met on Andromeda), the fact that they never really had to break-in General Landry, he was agreeable from the start, Teal’c coming into his own with all the Jaffa, etc.

They had the formula nailed down to a science, and you could tell they were having a lot of fun.

I know you said to avoid the “just don’t connect it” advice, but I frankly think that’s your best bet without shelling out absurd amounts of money. I hate the concept of smart TVs, so like you I tried to find a reasonably priced dumb TV. Had zero luck. Instead, I bought a 55” Hisense TV (U8K) about 6 months ago, and have never once connected it to the internet. I think it’s technically a Google TV, but I wouldn’t know, since I just connect my devices to it, no internet necessary. It’s a gorgeous display with amazing picture quality. All the features are enabled, nothing was stuck behind an internet-wall. I don’t regret it.

Back in my day, I could do all I needed in Dropbox with a click or two. Now everything is hidden behind multiple menus, obstructed by persistent ads and over-designed interfaces. I will never upgrade, it doesn’t matter how many different ways they try to make it happen. Dropbox used to be simple and no nonsense. It has been shittified for quite some time now.

Quantum Break was SO good. I’ll die on that hill. I want more of it.
