I didn’t know much about Rob Reiner or think about him before he was murdered. But this guy has one impressive filmography, he was the director behind The Princess Bride and A Few Good Men? This guy is a directorial heavyweight and a strong civil rights supporter. Even the mocking that South Park gave to him didn’t make him look dumb (smoking is bad, OK? It just is).

That’s fair. I have to admit, to me social media was mostly about talking to others. I didn’t get into TikTok or Instagram because I didn’t see that option other than to watch short form videos, which is not something I like.

Then we currently have a failure to communicate. Please define what is and what is not social media online. Are older PHP forums social media or not? Those were the first social media I did online and continued to be the main way I did any internet socializing for many years.

It isn’t the gotcha you think it is. To get a handgun you absolutely need to know how to use it properly (at least they did before the handgun freeze), and most handgun shooters are better shots than your average Canadian police officer. You are acting like they handed out RPALs to people who use pistols to scratch their heads or something. If anything I would say many cops shouldn’t be walking around with a badge and a gun, but many do, and I have heard of accidental discharges from them so stupid that it is amazing they only get a stern talking to. If I had an accidental discharge even close to what they did I would go to jail for years and be fucked for life.

And people under 16 often do need to talk to others. Social media can be a massive cesspit, but there are uses for it and they can be critical for some.

The gun ban shit is stupid, and expensive and pointless. The licensing scheme was all that was needed and it worked very well. They could even remove the non-restricted/restricted distinction and just have long gun/handgun, and the handgun freeze crap needs to go to hell. Also pocket pistols should be relegalized again. A person that can be trusted with a glock 19 can be trusted with a glock 43.

I wish I had Agent 47’s throwing skills. In the game you can disable cameras by throwing stuff at them. It is extremely satisfying to do it.
