      To refresh my memory - I’m tempted to look for articles from around 2012 to 2016 - in other words Obama’s second term. I assume the average lib website was cautiously optimistic with a “we got this” tone that global temperatures would stay under 1.5C until 2100. And I assume sometime very soon - with a similar “we got this” tone - the very same websites will start talking about the “unfortunate necessity of geoengineering”.

      The US is the boiling frog. The goalposts keep moving, new PR bullshit emerges, and we get closer to boiling to death.
