    It’s been a bit bewildering in a way that there’s less nerd “fact checking” for Trump 2.0, like everybody just kind of got worn out.

    I think there is some importance in documenting all of the lies, nobody gives a fuck at this point, but IDK maybe in the post-apocalyptia someone will find an offline Wikipedia on an old SSD and put it all together.

    A bit more seriously, there are a lot of younger folks who aren’t aware that there was a shared reality (with it’s own biases and flaws) that existed before 2015 when Trump started splitting it open. Now they have AI content everywhere and it’s all the more important for them to be able to critically evaluate what they consume online. It’s helpful to have this documentation in case they get pulled in to “Trumpality” or whatever you want to call it. I think the truth will win eventually but it’ll be another couple years (if not several), before it has the upper hand again.
