I’m not sure where they originate - I usually just find these memes circulating. I love the art too, although I’m suspicious that some could be AI these days. It’s getting really hard to tell.
According to Tineye, this image first appears on Imgur, with the caption. If no artist posted it as their work, it’s probably AI.
Very good point, I have no way of telling whether some of them are AI. But yeah love the style too! Have to see if I find the origin.
