Tried using American Truck Simulator. After several (in-game) moving violations, I have realized I will need to git gud at this game before I can actually unwind with it. (Turns out driving with mouse + keyboard is much harder for me than real driving!) Any recommendations for things to play to relax you for sleepytime?

I’ve had spells where before bed I was playing Hardspace Shipbreaker while listening to a podcast or audiobook. Yes, there are some annoyances where you can die from your own stupidity and sometimes because something happen you didn’t know, so that may annoy some people. But by far and large I felt it was a very relaxing game that let me focus my listening on other stuff. The narrative exists in the game and pops in by dialogue from other characters, but it’s not overly demanding and only pops in sometimes.

Stellaris. Nice smooth music, long intervals between action, you can set it to super slow and take your time. I’ve fallen asleep playing it many times. It’s my go to when I can’t sleep

I play Nubby’s Number Factory if I want something to chill out with before bed while I talk to my friends
