This is captain Pham Duy Do. A special forces commando who sat on tank that crashed thru the independence palace gate and raised the liberation flag on the second floor. He is born in 1950. Still alive and well today.
The perfect excuse for me to share some Ho Chi Minh related pictures from my trip to the city with his namesake.
