Francis tried to be a decent person, but the organization he supports has an ungodly amount of money and outreach which aren’t being put to good use. Christianity could do so much more to help, they just choose not to.
I guess he wasn’t that bad…for a pope.

Disclaimer: not religious at all…but in all fairness to Pope Francis, he was a Jesuit, rejected living in the grand Papal apartment, and chose to live in a super simple 2 room apartment. The first pope to ever do so.
Every time I learn something new about him, I realize the Catholic Church must feel like they really fucked up by electing him.
