I think, ultimately, what you’re noticing is low levels of class awareness and a low level of understanding of socialism. This is where the classic “educate, agitate, organize” comes in.
Education. I personally made an introductory Marxist-Leninist reading list, I share it with people I talk to online if they seem like they’d find it useful. I also try to talk to people about socialism in general.
Agitate. By constantly protesting, using good agitprop, making videos, etc and reaching the working class, people become more familiarized with socialism.
Organize. Party building and doing good direct action earns the trust of the working class and embeds them in the movement for socialism. Groups like PSL and FRSO are good orgs in the US empire, as examples.
All 3 are the basic tasks of any revolutionary.
