I know a number of hunters whose first gun was a gift, so there’s a good chance, you don’t HAVE to buy a gun if you’ve got the right community. The hunters I know go to private areas where they’ve developed relationships with the owners. They’ll go for water fowl, deer, and rabbits at these usually farmers fields.
