To answer your actual question, this guy is leucistic. That means he has a lighter pigmentation compared to his regular opossum pals. Think of it as a real-life Pokémon shiny.
I was trying to think of what regular opossums looked like, and I know they’re greyish. I figured it was something genetic but I had a fleeting thought that maybe this one was just clean
