Thanks, I figured that out in the end. Incidentally, I solved it by joining the ios26 beta. And as a psa I’d just like to say to anyone considering doing the same, don’t.
How does this compare to Adguard?
AdGuard and Wipr were the best up until now IMO but there are minor annoyances with both that bothered me for a long time. AdGuard doesn’t have a cookie popup blocker, at least in the free version. Wipr has this bug where archive.is/ph backups of Reuters articles display as a blank page. UBOL solves both and is 100% free.
I’m curious how it compares to wipr. I tried a few other addons and none of them worked very well, but ever since installing wipr it’s been flawless.
