I hate to say it but, I think we are going to find out. I think the paradigm has already shifted and the rules haven’t yet been figured out. We’re already living in a post truth era. People running around spouting lies and denying truth to the point of exhaustion.
You bring up an interesting point. Maybe we’ll have to get to the point that if it’s not in a physical book obviously copywritten pre 2017 no one will trust it.
We have certificate authorities in the digital world and notaries in the paper world. It’s not a huge leap to start an authenticity authoritu for videos, images and audio.
