Spring: Coming soon to a hemisphere near you.

I took this using my Bird Lens, because it was already attached to my camera at the time and I am lazy. A less important side effect is that you can get right up in the face of a relatively “nearby” subject even if you’re still standing like 20 feet away from it.

Canon R10 with the RF 100-400mm lens, F/14, 1/500 sec, 225mm. I was in “Fv” mode to let the camera handle the numbers until it inevitably gets one of them wrong. Or more likely, the focus. Otherwise, the R10’s fully automatic mode is really, really stupid.

Fv seemed to do an okay job all day.
